I met Callie quite a few years ago, shortly before she turned 18. I’ll never forget hanging out with her parents and hearing her beg to go out with her friends that night because “she’s an adult and can do that.” I remember thinking that she reminded me a lot of someone… that someone being me. From that point on, our friendship grew. She will always be my adventure buddy, one of those people who inspire you to keep exploring and experience new things.

Over her spring break this year, she came out to visit from Tennessee for the second time. I’m slowly, but surely working on getting her to move out here…I think the key is mass amounts of Dutch Bros coffee…in my honest opinion!
